Project Description
With the active initiative of the Rotary Club of Damak, a girls-friendly toilet has been constructed at Saraswoti Secondary School, Damak, and its inauguration and handover program has been successfully completed.
The toilet was officially handed over to the school during a program held today on the school premises with a budget of 1,50000/- of which 75 thousand is supported by Kumari Bank under CSR. The project helps 350 girls in the school.
The program was chaired by Rotary Club President Keshab Kumar Agrawal. The ward president of Damak ward no. 2 Prajapati Sapkota attended as the chief guest, while Kumari Bank representatives and distinguished members of the community attended the program.
Program coordinator Sagar Shrestha expressed खुशी (happiness) at being able to contribute to improving the health and education of female students.
This is the second girl-friendly toilet handed in by RC Damak which has made a positive contribution to society through programs focused on girls.
This project was carried out under the Rotary Basic Literacy and Education Program and is considered an important step toward improving the safety, health, and learning environment of female students.
