Description
Name of the project: “Rotary Kidney Care Centre” Rotary club of Burdwan has planned to open this Centre in Burdwan to cater to the need for Dialysis for socio-economically weaker section of population. For this a Dialysis Centre will be set up with five numbers of Hemodialysis Machines and supporting Reserve Osmosis Plant and all necessary furniture and fixtures which includes five numbers of Fowler Beds and accessories. The centre will be in a “free hold” space which will be taken on long term lease . Apart from the working area a comfortable waiting space will be provided for the patients and their parties. The technical part will be managed by experienced and trained Nephro staff and overall supervision by qualified Nephrologist. The cost to the patient will be approx. 30% less than the prevailing market price. About 4860 dialysis will be done in one year. We will entertain some free case (approx. 5%) every year, which will be recommended by Rotary clubs. Beneficiaries of this project: - Socioeconomically challenged people who are suffering from chronic kidney disease will be benefited from this project. We will be providing about 4860 dialysis per year for these needy persons. This will cater to patients coming from Revenue District of Barddhaman, Purulia, Bankura, Nadia etc.
